Typefaces.
Let's learn about the important role they play. We've done some assignments concerning this, but in class we're going to watch a documentary named Helvetica. You may watch it on your own and not come to class, but I will be showing it in class. I will post questions on Dot.Lrn and I expect them to be answered the following class. Ask and Create
Many students do not seem to understand my instructions upon assignments. If you have any questions whatsoever, please come and clarify or comment upon this post.
Now, we've moved on to InDesign and the calendar assignment. Three months and the cover all to be designed by you. Get creative with this one, I would love to see another idea like the one for Alice in Wonderland that I discussed in class. Striking pictures, interesting facts, cute themes, all working in the end to make a masterpiece. Remember, if you have any questions, please consult me or your classmates.
Just don't make a calendar like these. Enjoy.
